LCTA Hires New Marketing Manager

BATON ROUGE, La. --- Risk Management Resources, Inc., a third party administrator for LCTA Workers’ Comp (LCTA), recently hired John Brooks as the marketing manager, bringing along widespread workers’ compensation sales experience in the field.

Brooks’ responsibilities will include new business development, cultivating and growing agency relationships, identifying and securing new revenue opportunities, and managing the fund’s marketing staff.

Brooks was a senior field representative at Berkshire Hathaway GUARD where he was responsible for introducing the workers’ compensation carrier to new areas in the South, as well as developing sales patterns for more than 100 agencies. Prior to that, he was the vice president of marketing at LEMIC Insurance Company for almost ten years, where he led the marketing efforts of the carrier in four states.

LCTA will gain new market insight through Brooks’ marketing background coupled with his knowledge of agent relationships and the workers’ compensation function.

“I hope to contribute my marketing and sales expertise to LCTA, and bring new ideas to market our services,” Brooks said. “The mission of LCTA closely aligns with my passion for workers’ compensation, and I look forward to joining the team.”

Brooks received his Bachelor of Arts in mass communications from Louisiana State University and is designated as a Certified Workers’ Compensation Professional (CWCP).
